Leco Nursing Session Abstracts

The session aims to improve patient care by addressing complications from a multidisciplinary and practical perspective.

Submission Period for Nursing Cases for the LECO Nursing Program:

Deadline: September 15, 2026

Potential Nursing Topics
•    Nursing management in vascular access and closure 
•    Early detection of complications (endoleaks, bleeding, hematomas, infections) 
•    Nursing care in the perioperative period (pre-, intra- and postoperative) 
•    Patient education and discharge after endovascular procedures 
•    Management of anticoagulant therapy and associated complications 
•    Nursing management of infected vascular access 
•    Communication and teamwork in complex cases 
•    Patient safety and quality improvement related to complications 

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
Required Sections

Abstracts must include the following sections:
•    Title 
•    Introduction 
•    Clinical observation (case description and nursing care) 
•    Discussion 

Word Limit: Maximum 250 words

Selection and Communication

Selected abstracts will be presented as oral presentation.

The decision will be communicated by email by September 22, 2026.
