PresentationXevi Verdaguer Psychoneuroimmunology Institute and Clínica Planas, motivated by the dissemination and therapeutic approach in scientific evidence in Psychoneuroimmunology, introduce the 1st Congress: THE SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE IN PSYCHONEUROIMMUNOLOGY: Present evidence and future trends, to be held in Jaime Planas Auditorium on June 1, 2019 and will host a conference with national and international speakers.
The lectures will be focused on the most actual scientific research studies and then on round- tables to discuss future research trends in psychoneuroimmunology. The Congress has the participation of the PNIRS (Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society), the world's leading exponent in research in this medical specialty. The Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society is an international organization of researchers in different medical disciplines interested in the interactions of the nervous system and the immune system, as well as in the relationship between behavior and health. Including psychology, neurosciences, immunology, infectious diseases, endocrinology and rheumatology. The first president of the PNRIS was Robert Ader, the psychologist, together with the immunologist Nicholas Cohen, who coined the term Psychoneuroimmunology in 1975. The participation of world-renowned researchers in the PNIE, such as the current president of the PNIRS, Deborah Hodgson and her predecessor, William A. Banks, will open the congress. Followed by, Pol De Saedeleer, Dr. Manuel Blanco Suárez, Dr. Francisco Martín Bermudo, Dr. Carlos Mur de Víu, Dr. Maria Antonia Lizarraga Dallo and Xevi Verdaguer Renart, who will complete the list of speakers in the 1st congress. « Go back |
